Aladdin eToken Strong Authentication Solution Implemented to Assist Securing Continental Airlines Network

(NASDAQ: ALDN), an information security leader specializing in authentication, software DRM and content security, today announced that Continental Airlines implemented the Aladdin eToken strong authentication solution to assist them in meeting the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) - a major, industry-defined set of rules that regulate cardholder data handling and transaction processing.

Aimed at adding higher levels of security for cardholder data, PCI DSS outlines the need for strong access controls for data, coupled with traditional security technologies already in use by many merchants. More than 1,000 Aladdin eToken devices were distributed to Continental Airlines' employees and business partners enabling remote access to the network using two factor authentication. Aladdin eToken allows Continental's partners to gain access anytime by using the portable, clientless eToken device to create a one-time password.
