Any hardware malfunction: Viruses are not capable of causing damage to hardware.

Your PC Beeps at startup: This is a hardware problem, usually a memory or display adaptor malfunction.

Word Macro Warning: When MS Word opens ANY document containing a macro, it displays a warning. This does not necesarily mean that there is a virus in the document.

Virus Warning email: If you have received an email, warning you about a new virus, please enter the virus name into our "Search Box" to check if it is a hoax or an actual threat.
